  I would not return, maybe it was a one off, maybe they let anyone in who wants to sleep in any vehicle, I don't know, such a shame as we were going to stay 2 nights and visit cartegena for the day.

  Never had any issue in any aire, with other motorhomes or camping cars, more respect from people in proper vehicles for sleeping in, maybe if the site was busy with more people around it would have been stopped alot earlier, but as it was only me who was trying to make them keep the noise down, they did as they pleased.

  Stayed here in August 2016, arrived to find the little African man asleep in his shed, He was very friendly and showed us around, the toilets/showers/shared lounge were spotlessly clean, the service area was clean and the large parking area was clean.

  Early evening a lot of commotion at the gate started, a few vehicles arrived, lots of loud voices along with laughing and joking around, when this had died down a small van, I think citreon belingo drove into the aire, 3 young French lads got out and had the tour around, as there was only a long term old Spanish coulpe in one corner, a young German couple in the middle and us in the far corner, were all that were staying, they parked a few bays down from us. all was well until the man in the shed went home and locked the gates.

  Didn't go down well and a full on argument arose, with the one youth telling me about respecting his van, what respect I asked did you have at 3 a.m for "tout le monde"

  Loud music, shouting, constantly walking around the site with phones on speaker so that they then had to raise there voice to have a conversation is all we heard from the French lads,

  We had a very enjoyable stay, very friendly family run site and extremely helpful, lovely clean showers and washing facilities. Thank you Theresa & Patrick, we will definitely be paying a return visit.

  At 1.30 when the music went through the roof again, I walked over to them and had a strong word in my best pigeon French and got the music off, didn't stop the electronic devices though, u tube clips, still walking around the site talking into mobile phones on speaker phone, then at 2.30 they decided to turn in, 3 young men in a tiny van that they need to turn into a place to sleep, so much noise , clattering around tables moved, chairs moved, doors opened and slammed.

  The manager at 9.05 had still not arrived to unlock the gates, so I phoned the number on the wall and got a nice Spanish women who spoke English, The man arrived who unlocked then the women arrived to find out what had happened the night before.

  At 11.30 I told them to turn the music down, but as they were not in a camper just a very small van they were all sat around the side door, music on, and just very noisy, the music went down some, but occasionally would get turned up for a song (1 did have the sense to tell the other to turn it down)

  We decided not to stay any longer than we had to, so at 8.30 when I woke, I walked over to the van and in my best sergeant major voice shouted whilst banging on the door and roof "wakey wakey my little beauties" If I'm awake then they were going to be.

  Great stop for motorhome visiting Cartagena. Short walk along a busy road to number 7 bus that runs every 15 minutes to city centre. Showers and toilets basic. Very friendly and helpful owners. Good value for money.
